Board of Advisors
In the truest sense, members of the Board of Trustees and Board of Advisors are advocates, ambassadors and advisers to the school. As a group, they volunteer hundreds of hours of service to YingHua each year.
The Board of Advisors consists of four members, who advise the school in specific areas.
Mr. Michael K. Klavon

- M.A., Harvard University & M.Ed., Rutgers University
Michael works for the NJ Department of Education. Also while with the Department, he served as Director, Licensure/Credentials; as Secretary to the State Board of Examiners; as Director of Innovative Programs/Schools; as Director of Vocational-Technical/Career/Adult Programs. Prior to this Michael had been an administrator in the Matawan-Aberdeen Regional School District for 24 years, as a District-wide Director, as Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum & Instruction, as Deputy Superintendent for Personnel and lastly as Superintendent.Michael remains active in the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, the American Association of School Administrators, the NJ Association of School Administrators, Omicron Tau Theta and Phi Delta Kappa. He serves as the Commissioner's representative: NJ Commission on Science and Technology; NJ Commission on National and Community Service. Presently he serves on the Mercer County College Board of Trustees, the Mercer County Technical Schools Board and the Mercer County Special Services Schools District Board.

Shijian Zhou (周世建)
Zhou Laoshi is passionate about education. She was born in Shanghai, China,
and has been playing critical roles in several community-based language
schools in New Jersey since 1998. She truly understands how students learn
and how teachers should teach. She brings with her rich experience as a
renowned teacher, assistant principal, academic dean, pedagogy consultant,
and business manager.
