On January 28, 2008,
as an early Chinese New Year gift to our school, Kalani and his family
presented a wealth of educational materials (from the Syracuse Cultural
Workers) to our delighted students and teachers. The
gifts celebrate the theme of peace and multiculturalism, which fits well with
the “internationally-mindedness” promoted in our school’s mission statement.
These inspiring
gifts shall be cherished for a long time …

一月二十八日是个晴朗的星期一，我们的学生恺乐和他的美国爸爸给学校送来的早春的第一份礼物：有振奋人心的海报，有挑战传统的地图，二十多件教学或展览性的资料，全是围绕“和平”、“多文化”及“环境保护”的主题，这跟我们学校具有国际观的教学模式非常契合。师生们兴致勃勃地聆听恺乐和爸爸的解说，受益匪浅。
