This week of “Fruit
Series” proves to be both appealing and challenging to our students. Everyday
two types of fruit are introduced with different opening activities, some
mysterious and other hilarious. All the students are immersed in the
stimulating learning experience. Younger kids are encouraged to name the fruit,
sing songs and read the books along with teachers, while older ones are
challenged to also recognize the names in Chinese characters, with the help of
flashcard games. Next week we will
review all the fruit before we move on to “Vegetable Series”.
Next week we will
welcome the return of an old friend and the joining of 4 new friends – we are
going to have so much fun!

本周是“水果周”，孩子们学得开心，也要不断地动脑筋。老师每天用不同的方式介绍两种水果，有“神秘的口袋摸一摸”，也有喂会动的猴子吃香蕉，等等，每天还能尝试各种水果。对于中文能力好的学生，老师就用各种字卡游戏鼓励孩子们认字。下周我们会先复习水果，再进入“蔬菜周”，下周我们会有一位“老朋友”归队，也会来四位新朋友，会很热闹！
